Sotheby's auction to feature rare 1926 Macallan whisky with price tag of up to £1.2 million

Sotheby's auction house will be selling an extremely rare bottle of The Macallan 1926, a highly sought-after single malt whisky. With an estimated price range of £750,000 to £1.2 million, this bottle is expected to generate significant interest among whisky enthusiasts. It is particularly special as it is the first time a bottle from the same 1926 cask has returned to auction since a record-breaking sale in 2019. Only 40 bottles were produced, adding to their exclusivity and appeal.
