Rebels held us hostage at gunpoint for 8 hours: Sudan returnees

“A group of gun-toting rebels broke open our gate and entered the campus. They took us hostage for around eight hours and looted valuables from us,” said Basanta Kumar Mishra, who was working as a supervisor in a steel company at Soba under Khartoum city of conflict-hit Sudan, after returning home on Friday.
