RMC seeks government assistance to tackle legacy waste disposal issue

In a bid to address the mounting issue of legacy waste, a proposal sent to the Uttarakhand government by the municipal corporation in the US Nagar district headquarters, Rudrapur, has been cleared and subsequently sent to the Union government for financial aid, with an aim to dispose of 35 metric tonnes of waste.
