Russian Major died 'in line of duty,' local official confirms

Russia's Major General Vladimir Zavadsky died "in the line of duty," confirmed by a Russian local official. Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev called his death a "heavy loss". Major General Zavadsky was deputy commander of the 14th army corps of the Northern Fleet. The incident took place in the Kherson region. The Russian Defence Ministry has not commented or mentioned anything regarding the incident even though Major's family had spoken about it in public.
