Two held for possession of Rs 3 crore Ambergris granted bail

The magistrate court in Thane granted bail to the two persons who were arrested for possession of Rs 3 crore Ambergris which is the vomit of sperm whale. The magistrate MD Nanaware, granted bail to the accused identified as Muzamil Subhedar 46 and his accomplice Shahzad Kadri, 46 a resident of Mhasala Taluka of Raigad district, with certain conditions. Kadam said that the Shrinagar police had trapped the duo near the Modella check naka with Ambergris and that they seized the consignment last week.
