Mumbai tour operator held for duping Haj pilgrims in Odisha

Abdul Khan and others were duped by Nabeel Abdul Mubin Shaikh, a Mumbai-based tour operator, who collected Rs 1.2 crore from 189 Odisha pilgrims for a Haj pilgrimage. Despite full payments, travel dates were delayed from 2019 to 2023. Shaikh was arrested by the Odisha EOW, revealing a potential larger scam.
