38,059 refugees from Myanmar & B’desh in Mizoram: Min

Mizoram is currently sheltering 38,059 refugees from neighboring Myanmar and Bangladesh, according to state home minister K Sapdanga. Biometric registration for Myanmar nationals is nearly complete in all 11 districts, with 93.04% already enrolled. Enrollment of Bangladeshi refugees is also underway, though progress has slowed in certain districts where the process has temporarily stalled.
